Back in December of 2012, we found out that Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane was set to follow up his feature film directorial debut, Ted, with a western-comedy titled A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Now comes the first image from the movie, which MacFarlane co-wrote with Family Guy and Ted writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
You can check out the first image and a synopsis for the movie below.
After a cowardly sheep farmer backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.
The cast for A Million Ways to Die in the West surrounding MacFarlane in the lead is impressive, including Charlize Theron and Amanda Seyfried, as well as Liam Neeson and Giovanni Ribisi, and Neil Patrick Harris and Sarah Silverman.
The movie will be released on May 30, 2014.

Sounds like a solid idea for a film, just wish it wasn’t a comedy.
