Preview ‘The Witcher #1’ From Dark Horse Comics

Dark Horse Comics has released a 7-page preview of The Witcher #1, the start of the publisher’s new 5-issue comic book miniseries based on the novels by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The miniseries is written by Paul Tobin with art by Joe Querio and Carlos Badilla, and covers by Dan Panosian and Dave Johnson.

Here below you can check out the 7-page preview and official solicitation for the 32-page full-color issue, which is currently available for pre-order, with a release date of March 19, 2014.

Traveling near the edge of the Black Forest, monster hunter Geralt meets a widowed fisherman whose dead and murderous wife resides in an eerie mansion known as the House of Glass””which seems to have endless rooms, nothing to fill them with, and horror around every corner.

* The Witcher games have collectively won over 250 awards and sold more then 5.5 million copies worldwide.
* There are currently two games available across multiple platforms, and a third is slated for release in 2014.
