DC Comics and Warner Bros. have been doing a bang-up job recently bringing DC superheroes to the small screen with their hit show Arrow, and have been gearing up both a Flash spin-off series and the highly talked about Gotham, which will shed some light on Bruce Wayne’s earlier years in light of the show’s success.
If you’ve been enjoying Arrow so far, good news, the series has been picked up for a third season!
DC Comics announced yesterday:
Looks like we have a whole new year of arrows and awesome abdominals to look forward to!
CW President Mark Pedowitz announced that Arrow had been renewed for a third season, along with four other CW dramas. (They’re The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Supernatural and Reign, for those who are counting.)
The stars and producers of the show seemed pretty excited about it.
Several of the show’s stars, including Stephen Amell and Colton Haynes, took to Twitter to bring the news to their fans as well:
Are you excited to see more justice brought to the streets of Star City? What villains (or heroes) would you like to see make guest appearances?
