Preview ‘True Detective’ Episode 7 ‘After You’ve Gone’ (Video)
  |  @   |

Tonight sees the penultimate episode of Season 1 of HBO’s mesmerizing crime drama True Detective. In this 7th episode, titled “After You’ve Gone,” former partners Marty Hart (Woody Harrelson) and Rust Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) forge a truce in present-day time to “probe a murky string of disappearances that tie to the symbology of the Dora Lange murder and the Tuttle family.”

HBO has released a 35-second preview of Episode #7, which you can watch here below, along with a video recap of last week’s episode 6.

With Episode 6 we finally learned what caused the rift back in 2002 between the two Louisiana state police partners. At that point in time, the detectives had solved the serial murder case that put them on the map, but Rust then unearths new details that lead him to believe there was another person involved with the killings.

Below is a 5-minute video called “Inside The Episode #6” where show creator and writer Nic Pizzolatto and director Cary Fukunaga go into detail about what’s happening in the episode; there’s also an episode recap video, as well as two episode clips.

Episode 7 airs tonight on HBO at 9pm.
