SDCC 2014: ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 2’ Officially Confirmed; Release Date Announced
  |  @   |

Marvel Studios ended the day in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, with news and footage from Ant-Man and Avengers: Age Of Ultron, as well as a look at Thanos from Guardians Of The Galaxy.

In true Marvel fashion, they ended their panel with an announcement — the official confirmation that there will be a Guardians Of The Galaxy 2.

At the end of the presentation, a video was shown of Galaxy star Chris Pratt and director James Gunn (who, it was revealed last night that he would return for a sequel) talked to one another about how awesome it would be if they could reveal that the sequel had been greenlight and that the release date would be July 28, 2017.

We’ll have more news and photos from the Marvel panel soon, so stay tuned!
