Leslie Mann Joins ‘Vacation’ Reboot As Audrey Griswold

The family is once again complete. Leslie Mann, the star of Knocked Up, This Is 40, and the recent The Other Woman, is has entered into negotiations to play Audrey Griswold in the upcoming Vacation reboot/sequel.

The movie stars Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold, who’s now grown up and taking his own family on vacation. Original franchise stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo will return in cameo roles as the Griswold elders.

Christina Applegate will play Rusty’s wife in the movie, and the recently cast Chris Hemsworth will play Audrey’s husband, an up-and-coming news anchor named Stone Crandall.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Pacific Rim star Charlie Day also has a small role as a river rafting guide.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are making their feature debut as directors on Vacation, and also co-wrote the screenplay. Filming is set to kick off next week.
