  |  @   |

A new fan film based on the superhero Spawn has been released. The character—a former assassin and CIA agent who was murdered by his friend and partner, sending his soul to Hell for some of the innocents he had killed, before making a deal with a demon who sends him back to life as a Hellspawn—was created by Todd McFarlane and debuted for Image Comics in 1992. A movie was made in 1997 starring Michael Jai White, John Leguizamo, and Martin Sheen.

The fan film, titled Spawn: The Recall, was created by Michael Paris and runs about seven minutes in length. You can read a synopsis and watch the short film below!
