Fans of Dean Motter‘s long-running independent series Mister X will be getting some good news out of this year’s New York Comic-Con with the announcement of a new mini-series titled Mister X: Razed.
Dark Horse Comics will release the series starting in February of 2015.
Mister X: Razed is described thusly:
Radiant City is a metropolis as mysterious as its alleged creator””Mister X. What should’ve improved the city left it cursed. Now, Mister X must watch over the City of Dreams turned City of Nightmares, keeping vigil during a holiday season that’s anything but jolly.
The first issue of this new arc, a great jumping on point for new readers!
Both a Christmas story and a murder mystery, the intrigue in Radiant City never sleeps!
New readers will be able to dive into Motter’s evocative art and long-time fans will just be happy to dive back into the world that Motter and team have created. If you’ve never read Mister X, it is about the titular character’s exploits as he protects Radiant City, the town he created but also drove insane. It’s a very influential comic on movies like Dark City.
