‘The Last Of The Mohicans’ Acoustic Cover Might Just Blow Your Mind
  |  @   |

Here we have yet another incredible acoustic cover of a hit movie’s recognizable score. This time it’s one of my personal favorites, from the 1992 Michael Mann historical epic, The Last of the Mohicans. Be sure to check out the acoustic cover of the Back to the Future theme and the bass guitar cover of the Braveheart theme if you’ve not yet heard them.

The track is titled “Promentory,” from composer Trevor Jones and based on Dougie Maclean’s “The Gael.” The cover is done on acoustic guitar, with two additional guitars (three guitars in total: a standard, a baritone, and a seven-string) and a violin bow used to enhance the cover. You kind of have to see it to believe it. You can do just that below.

The cover is performed by Luca Stricagnoli, and you can see more of his work and the work of others over at the Candyrat Records YouTube page.
