Swedish black metal merchants Dark Funeral have just released the official video for the first song to feature their new lineup . The video is not accompanied by any details about the new members, but if this track is any indication, Dark Funeral are back with a vengeance! This is the first new music from the band since their 2009 album Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus in 2009.

In 2010 iconic vocalist Emperor Magus Caligula left the band after 15 years. Bassist B-Force and drummer Dominator would soon follow, leaving only the two guitar players Ahriman and Chaq Mol to soldier on. The band held worldwide online auditions for a singer and it sounds like they’ve found a great fit with the new guy, whomever he may be.

“Nail Them To The Cross” was recorded at Dugout Studios in Uppsala, Sweden and was mixed and mastered by Daniel Bergstrand. The video clip was directed by Owe Lingvall.

A strictly limited 7″ single including “Nail Them To The Cross” and another new track will be released in early 2015; stay tuned for more information coming soon!

Dark Funeral are currently working on a their sixth studio album. It is to be their first since signing to legendary metal label Century Records. Hopefully it will see release sometime in 2015.
