Voice Actor Christine Cavanaugh (Chuckie From ‘Rugrats,’ Babe The Pig) Dead At 51

Voice actor Christine Cavanaugh, whose distinctive sound gave life and a memorable personality to little Chuckie Finster on the popular Nickelodeon animated series Rugrats, has died at the age of 51. The actress passed away on December 22nd, and the cause of death has not yet been revealed.
In addition to Rugrats, Cavanaugh will also be best remembered as the voice of Babe the pig in the 1995 live-action movie Babe, and as Dexter from the animated series Dexter’s Laboratory.
Other notable roles include Gosalyn on Darkwing Duck; Bunnie Rabbot on the 1993-’94 Sonic the Hedgehog animated series; Marty Sherman, son of Jon Lovitz’s Jay Sherman, on the animated comedy series The Critic; Oblina on Aaahh!!! Real Monsters; and Dumpling and Wizzer on the 1997-’98 101 Dalmations series.
Cavanaugh also had the occasional small non-voice acting role on TV shows such as Cheers, Salute Your Shorts, Empty Nest, The X-Files, Everybody Loves Raymond, and ER, as well as in a couple of movies like Mixed Nuts and Jerry Maguire.
