Tomorrow marks the release of Star Wars #1, the launch of a new comic book series from Marvel Comics written by Jason Aaron with art by John Cassaday, so the publisher has released preview pages from the debut issue.
This new Star Wars series, which will be considered “canon,” is a continuing adventure of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader in a story that picks up soon after the events of the original 1977 film, Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope.
Check out the preview pages here below, along with a few images from Cassaday’s sketchbook for the issue. You can pre-order the print version of the 48-page Star Wars #1 (2015) through Amazon and TFAW, or head out to your local comic shop tomorrow to pick up a copy.
