You keep watchin’ them, so Syfy and The Asylum are more than happy to keep makin’ ’em.

It’s been officially announced that Sharknado and Sharknado 2: The Second One stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid are set to once again reprise their roles for Sharknado 3.

The third entry in the not-so-blockbuster franchise will see this storm of sharks hitting Washington, D.C. before making its way down the Eastern seaboard. It will be directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, who, yes, also directed the previous two installments.

Sharknado 2: The Second One was Syfy’s most-watched original movie of all time, with 3.9 million people tuning in to watch.
