Colm Feore Cast As The Dollmaker In TV’s ‘Gotham’
  |  @   |

Gotham teased us with The Dollmaker back in September in Episode 2 “Selina Kyle” when street children were being kidnapped for the character. He remained a faceless evil that episode, but now we can put a face to the name.

Colm Feore (The Borgias, Revolution, 24) has been cast as the demented Dr. Francis Dulmacher aka The Dollmaker, according to Deadline.

Here’s the details about the character via Deadline:

With a zealotry bordering on madness, and aided by his genius-level intellect and vast medical expertise, Dr. Dulmacher, pursues his demented researches, even as the bloody costs of his actions grow ever greater.

The comics have had three different dollmakers: Marcel Mannequin (controlled dolls), Anton Schott (enemy of Supergirl that turns dolls into weapons), and Barton Mathis (part of The New 52 – a surgeon who makes minions). It seems that the Dr. Dulmacher coming to the Batman prequel television series is modeled after Barton Mathis. The character has also appeared in an episode of The CW’s Arrow television series, where he was played by Michael Eklund.

Feore previously starred in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as Donald Menken and in Marvel’s Thor as King Laufey.

Welcome to Gotham, Colm!
