Ted 2 puts Ted (voice of Seth MacFarlane), everyone’s favorite foul-mouthed drunk stuffed teddy bear, in a predicament. He is attempting to have a child with his human wife, and given that he is unable to do so, he is asking his childhood owner and best friend to help him. While the first trailer, which was released this past weekend, showed that John (Mark Wahlberg) was willing to help by making a donation at the sperm bank, the latest Super Bowl ad for the film seems to have a higher budget as it has a few stunts and a big name celebrity cameo.

It seems to be such a waste to recycle some footage from the first trailer and turn it into an ad. Instead, Ted and John go out on a heist to steal some semen from none other than New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, one of tonight’s Super Bowl contenders. Of course, things don’t go well for the two, as Brady kicks one out, and throws the other one using his signature spiral.
Ted 2 also stars Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman, and Liam Neeson,, as well as Michael Dorn (Wolf from Star Trek: The Next Generation), Nana Visitor (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Patrick Warburton, Dennis Haysbert, Sam J. Jones (aka Flash Gordon, who appeared in the first film), David Hasselhoff, and more, with Patrick Stewart returning to narrate. As with the first film, expect plenty of celebrity cameos, including the aforementioned Tom Brady.
Directed by Seth MacFarlane, Ted 2 opens in theaters on June 26, 2015.
Seth MacFarlane returns as writer, director and voice star of Ted 2, Universal and Media Rights Capital’s follow-up to the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time. Joined once again by star Mark Wahlberg and fellow Ted writers Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild, MacFarlane produces the live action/CG-animated comedy alongside Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber, as well as John Jacobs and Jason Clark. www.LegalizeTed.com
