As expected, the big announcement from Robert Downey Jr. is going to be the third trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Not entirely surprising, but it could have been anything else when the Iron Man actor launched the Omzae contest yesterday. The trailer will air on Thursday night during the premiere of American Crime on ABC. So will we finally see a full look at The Vision? We can’t be entirely sure, but we have a sneak preview of the trailer after the jump.
We also have a look at the Captain America character poster for the highly anticipated sequel. It was originally thought that these character posters were pieces of a larger set, but it is looking less like that since they do not fit together. Hit the jump to see the current character posters.
The poster was revealed on Chris Evans‘ official Twitter account. As expected, most of the actors are revealing their respective character posters. Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Nick Fury, and Hawkeye have all been released. That pretty much leaves our new characters QuickSilver, Scarlett Witch, Ultron, and maybe The Vision.
Below is also a tease of the trailer that will debut on Thursday night during ABC’s debut of American Crime. Thanks to CBR for posting the teaser.
Also starring Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson, Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters on May 1, 2015.
Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
