Ryan Reynolds visited the set of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote his new movie with Helen Mirren, The Woman in Gold, set for release on April 3rd. It’s the true story about a Holocaust survivor, who along with her lawyer (Reynolds), fights the Austrian government to reclaim her family’s artwork, stolen by Nazis.
Fallon challenged Reynolds to a game of Egg Russian Roulette. See the antics in the video below.
The screams of the studio audience were probably not for this movie, however. The world is anticipating the Deadpool movie, with Reynolds reprising the role he played in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, in a standalone movie. Reynolds recently revealed a photo of himself as Deadpool. Excited yet?
Fallon and Reynolds didn’t talk about the Deadpool movie, but did crack themselves and the audience up with this gross game. The object of the game is to take turns smashing eggs against their heads chosen from a carton of eggs, held by Higgins. Eight are hard-boiled. Four are raw. The player who smashes two raw eggs against their head first, loses.
For your viewing enjoyment, here are a few gifs from their game. From this, you can guess the winner, but it doesn’t make it any less silly and fun.
Fallon, “Oh man!”
Reynolds, “Feels a little yolky in there, huh?”
Reynolds and Fallon’s posts to Twitter before the episode aired:
“@jimmyfallon: Tonight: Egg Russian Roulette w/Ryan Reynolds!" This is good news. I always lose at traditional Russian Roulette.
