Back in January, we saw the first trailer for Season 5 of Game Of Thrones, which was set to David Bowie’s “Heroes” and featured the incestuous Lannister twins and their younger dwarf brother Tyrion, now bearded and on the lamb; Daenerys Targaryen and her dragon; the new King and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms; Jon Snow’s next battle; Littlefinger and his new travel companion, the darker Sansa Stark; and fan favorite Arya Stark holding her sword Needle in what will be a major storyline for the character.

The new trailer opens with narration by Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen, who is naming the other major ruling houses, like Lannister and Baratheon, which she refers to as mere spokes on a wheel, which each taking their turn on top. But the wheel keeps on spinning, crushing those under it. And Daenerys has a plan for that wheel. The footage also shows Stannis Baratheon and his quest for the Iron Throne, along with Jon Snow’s warning of the coming of Winter and the nightmare that comes with it. As the video kicks into its second minute, that’s when we get the quick cuts jam-packed with new footage, some of which reveals new characters.

Season 5 of Game Of Thrones premieres on HBO on April 12, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT. A behind-the-scenes featurette titled Game of Thrones Ice and Fire: A Day In A Life, which aired in February and takes a look at one day of production for Season 5 on three different sets in three different countries, is online for viewing now.

Catch up with Season 4 now so you’re ready for the new episodes!
