Whitney Avalon – actress, comedienne, rapper…that’s right, I said rapper, has come out with yet another awesome Princess Rap Battle, the video series she started in September. In her fourth effort, she pits Cinderella against Belle, aptly so, since a new adaptation of Cinderella just hit the big screens, and a live-action version of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, and Dan Stevens is in the making. What makes this rap battle so much more viral and awesome than the others (which are great, too), is that the cult princess herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, raps as Cinderella.
Watch Gellar’s Princess rap battle and the other three from the video series here below.
This hysterical video shows Gellar as Cinderella flanked by her squad (what looks to be her step-sisters) taking turns spitting rhymes against Avalon’s Belle and her squad, Pocahontas and Little Red Riding Hood.
Cinderella Gellar: “Let’s look at your mentality, Freud loves your abnormality, The Stockholm Syndrome Story: Beauty and the Bestiality.”
Belle Avalon: “Fear the nerdy, wordy princess ’cause I’m throwin’ more shade, than the willow tree growing on your dead mother’s grave.”
There’s gems like these in abundance in the 2 1/2-minute video. Avalon’s previous rap battles include Snow White vs. Elsa, Galadriel vs. Leia, and Mrs. Claus vs. Mary Poppins.
Gellar recently made sci-fi news when she was cast for season 2 of Star Wars Rebels of which husband Freddie Prinze Jr. also stars.
My girl Gellar has some skills. But Avalon definitely wins the battle for me. They claim a definite winner at the end. Do you agree with the decision?
