Legendary Comics has announced a collection of new comics, including a trio based on existing or upcoming movie franchises.

First up is a graphic novel based on director Michael Dougherty‘s cult classic Halloween anthology Trick ‘r Treat, which will hold over fans of the movie until the much-anticipated sequel arrives. There’s also a graphic novel based on Dougherty’s next movie, the Christmas-themed horror flick Krampus.

Next is Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift, the follow-up to the graphic novel based on Guillermo del Toro‘s Pacific Rim titled Pacific Rim: Tales From Year Zero, that del Toro promised last June when Pacific Rim 2 was announced. Also announced is new comics Black Bag and Cops for Criminals.

Legendary Comics is taking the twisted stories from the mind of Michael Dougherty from the screen to the printed page with the announcement of two graphic novels based on Trick ‘r Treat and Krampus. Pete Woods, whose long and storied career includes iconic franchises such as Deadpool, Catwoman and Robin, returns to pencil, ink and color the title.
