‘LOST’ Star Cast As Killer Croc In ‘Suicide Squad’
  |  @   |

Warner Brothers has chosen LOST and Thor: The Dark World star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje to play Killer Croc in their upcoming DC Comics supervillain project Suicide Squad being directed by David Ayer (Fury, End of Watch).

Akinnuoye-Agbaje joins a cast that already includes Jared Leto as Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and more. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Jesse Eisenberg is also said to be making an appearance as Lex Luthor in the movie.

Killer Croc’s real name is Waylon Jones, who was born with a medical condition called Epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, which caused him to have similarities in both look and function to a crocodile. After enduring a lot of negativity and torment towards him growing up, he eventually realized that given his size—11 feet tall and 580 pounds—and immense strength and abilities, he could do whatever he wanted to get what whatever he wanted, and that made him very, very dangerous.

In addition to LOST, in which he played fan favorite character Mr. Eko, and Thor: The Dark World, in which he played the characters Algrim and Kurse, Akinnuoye-Agbaje has also starred in Oz, The Mummy Returns, The Bourne Identity, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Faster, The Thing [2011], Pompei, and Annie. He can soon be seen on HBO’s Game of Thrones.

If you’re unfamiliar with the character, you can get an idea of what Croc can be below from the beginning of the hit game Batman: Arkham Asylum—which was published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment—though it’s unclear if they’ll go with the same or a similar look in Suicide Squad.

What do you think of Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc?
