‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer: It’s Hard To Know Who’s More Crazy

Mad Max: Fury Road Header

After two stunning trailers for George Miller‘s Mad Max: Fury Road, Warner Bros. has released the third and final one in anticipation for the film’s May release. There is a bunch of new footage, which reveals more plot points than the previous two trailers combined. We also get to see a little bit more of the villain of the film, Immortan Joe (played by Hugh Keays-Byrne).

There is just so much action going on, reading a description wouldn’t do the trailer any justice. Besides, watching it on a computer screen doesn’t do it any justice either, and judging by what we see in the trailer, Mad Max: Fury Road deserves to be seen on the big screen. Hit the jump to check it out.

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

This is a pretty intense trailer. So many stunts, and so many explosions, it’s kind of hard to contain our excitement. Tom Hardy plays Mad Rockatansky, while Charlize Theron plays the elite Imperator, Furiosa

The film also stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Nux; Nathan Jones (Conan the Barbarian) as Rictus Erectus. Collectively known as The Wives, Zoë Kravitz (Divergent, X-Men: First Class) plays Toast, Riley Keough (Magic Mike) is Capable, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) is Splendid, and supermodel Abbey Lee is The Dag, and Courtney Eaton is Fragile. Josh Helman (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Jack Reacher) as Slit, Jennifer Hagan as Miss Giddy, and singer/songwriter/performer iOTA as Coma-Doof Warrior.

Tell us what you think about the trailer in the comments below.

Mad Max: Fury Road opens in theaters on May 15, 2015.
