Watch Vin Diesel & Van Halen On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (Video)
  |  @   |

Jimmy Kimmel had a packed show last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, with Furious 7 star Vin Diesel stopping by to promote the new movie, as well as musical guests Van Halen. Van Halen’s new album, Tokyo Dome, Live in Concert, comes out today, March 31st, 2015. It is the first live album released with original singer David Lee Roth on vocals.

Watch the 8 (yes 8!) videos here below.

Kimmel: “I see you’re working out still, which is nice.”
Diesel: “When I get a second.”

Kimmel and Diesel talked a whole range of topics, which included:

– He is a Van Halen fan.

– Vin Diesel’s first concert was LL Cool J and Run DMC.

– He used to be a professional breakdancer for The Beastie Boys.

– They talked some stunts in Furious 7, namely the cars dropping out of planes, and jumping from building to building in Abu Dhabi. He says Kurt Russell was brought in for a specific after-this-movie purpose, which he was then coy about.

– Vin Diesel admits he’s a little nervous about getting his hands and feet in cement on April Fool’s Day. His whole family will be there, including his twin brother, whom Kimmel named “Twin Diesel.” But he thinks his 2 1/2-week old daughter, Pauline (named as a tribute to the late Paul Walker), is too young to go.

– Diesel met Mark Zuckerberg who helped him clean up his Facebook page (that is so what I would do), and Zuckerburg asked for another XXX, which looks like it’s heading in that direction.

Kimmel introduced Van Halen to a frenzied crowd, and they played fan favorites, “Panama,” and “Runnin’ With the Devil.” I’ll tell you, Eddie looks good for someone who has lived as hard as he has. And of course, he sounded good as well.

Kimmel played up to the Van Halen fans, asking one, “Are you gonna jump tonight? You might as well.” He also included them in one of their bits, “Pedestrian Question,” and asked, “Do you have a Van Halen tattoo?” The audience guessed if they did or not, before the big reveal.
