Conan is live at San Diego Comic-Con this week, and we’ve already been treated to a Mad Max: Fury Road style opening, and a Comic-Con citizenship test administered by Chris Hardwick. Conan gave perfect answers. We knew he’d pass!
Conan: “We were able, don’t ask me how… to get a hold of the Wolverine auditon tapes. I looked at them. I think Jackman is gonna be very hard to replace. Take a look.”
Well. You heard Conan. Take a look! Watch the hilarious video below.
Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Patton Oswalt (Veep, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Hannibal Buress (Broad City, SNL), Larry King (Larry King Now), Michael Sheen (Masters Of Sex), Kristen Schaal (The Last Man On Earth), and Betty White (Hot In Cleveland, The Golden Girls, and everything) all got their shot to try out for Marvel’s favorite tortured hero.
“I’m the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn’t very nice,” was the targeted audition line (at least it seemed as if the audition people wanted that to be the line), but some ad-libbed a bit.
These were great! Here are some thoughts:
– I must now watch everything Thomas Middleditch and Nick Offerman are in.
– Michael Sheen dressed like James Bond.
– Kristen Schaal was covered in ectoplasm.
– Betty White had a shocking reveal!
I don’t know. I think Larry King can give Hugh Jackman a run for his money.
Be sure to keep it here at Geeks Of Doom all week for our on-site coverage of SDCC 2015.
