The Effects Behind ‘Game Of Thrones’ White Walker Attack On Wildlings In “Hardhome” (Video)
  |  @   |

HBO’s Game of Thrones, which is more popular than ever even after five full seasons have come and gone, arguably has the very best special effects on television. We’ve seen videos showcasing some of the great effects utilized on the show before, such as right here and here as well.

Now comes a new video of some of the show’s incredible digital effects. This time the focus is on the episode titled “Hardhome,” and more specifically the scene in which a vicious army of White Walkers attack the Wildlings at Hardhome, along with a few members of the Night’s Watch including new Lord Commander Jon Snow.

You can see the five-minute-long Game of Thrones special effects video below.

While I am an advocate for the use of practical effects and always prefer to see them used, sometimes you simply need to tip your hat to the digital effects created for a movie or TV show. This is one of those times.
