‘The Bastard Executioner’: Premiere Date, Poster, Videos!
  |  @   |

The Executioner is coming!

If you could not tell from the onslaught of coverage from GoD, Kurt Sutter‘s The Bastard Executioner, is coming. And now we know exactly when it will arrive. FX keeps teasing us (me), while I’m watching The Strain and Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, with these 20-second teasers. I don’t know how they pack such ominous tidings into such a small timespan, but pack it they did. The “Dark Age” teaser is in slow motion, angry, and of course… dark.

Check out that, two more “From the Set” videos, the poster, and the revealed premiere date below.

The first “From the Set” is from Stephen Moyer (Miles Corbett), whom we have had the pleasure of seeing before in these videos. He describes the show in his lovely accent (I did love me some Bill Compton, but his real voice is so much better), and you can hear what a true fan of the show he is already.

The second one is from our lead, Lee Jones (Wilkin Brattle), our executioner, describing the three things he’s learned (and is still learning) on the set of TBX. Watch and find out! And does he look tortured in his poster or what?

The Bastard Executioner tells the story of a war-weary soldier who must pick up the sword again to mete out the harshest punishment of all.

The Bastard Executioner premieres September 15th, 2015 on FX. September 15th!
