‘Gotham’ New Logo & “Aftermath” (Video)
  |  @   |

Bruno Heller‘s Gotham had a stellar 1st season, and we are all waiting with anticipation for season 2. Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon) and Cory Michael Smith (Ed Nygma aka Riddler) talk about the character arcs they have taken, and give a little insight into Gordon and Nygma’s dark minds.

Watch the “Aftermath” videos and check out the new season 2 logo below.

While Jim Gordon has tried to stay on the side of the law, he more often than not has had to go to the dark side, in the name of good. McKenzie speaks of the full circle he has come with Falcone (John Doman), citing when he first meets him, to the last episode, whee Falcone effectively hands over the reins to Jim.

Edward Nygma, has really always been an enigma. He really was my favorite character on the show, until he went batshit crazy at the end, with the decimation of Ms. Kringle’s (Chelsea Spack) dumb boyfriend. Smith digs a little deeper into his character. It’s really why he was superb. Smith made you care for his underdog Nygma, so much so that it was extra shocking when he lost it. It’s crazy how you take his glasses off and mess his hair a bit, and he is transformed. Kudos to the effects people for enhancing Smith’s psychotic performance.

I’m loving the new logo. Very clever. It includes James Frain who will play Theo Galavan, and Jessica Lucas who will play Tabitha Galavan aka Tigress.

Gotham season 2 returns Monday, September 21st at 8pm Et on FOX.
