‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ International TV Spot Focuses On The First Order (Video)
  |  @   |

We’re just months away from the theatrical release of the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While the plot of this long-awaited sequel has been speculated on countless times already, we’ve only really seen just a tiny bit of the film in the teaser videos — especially in this latest trailer which sees the return of Han Solo and Chewbecca.

Now, a new international TV spot has been released in Korea and is currently online. Watch it here below!

This new TV spot focuses more on the very Nazi-esque dark side forces, known in this film as the First Order (as opposed to the previously named Galactic Empire). While most of the clips here were previously released, there are a few seconds of new footage. You can see Gwendoline Christie’s (Brienne from Game Of Thrones) character Captain Phasma, the chrome-armored Stormtrooper; a few snippets of Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren (including the snowy scene where he ignites his crossguard lightsaber); and what’s likely Domhnall Gleeson’s General Hux, the leader of the First Order (standing before the massive crowd in that Third Reich type of rally), as well as the modified versions of various ships and weaponry. We also get to see some of the new “heroes” — Daisy Ridley’s Rey, John Boyega’s Finn, Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron, and my new boyfriend, BB-8, the rolling ball droid who I love.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, and returning alumni Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, and Kenny Baker. Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2015.
