Gotham season 2 is all about the baddies, it seems, where even the good ones have a bit of bad in them. Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) has had to get help from the dark side often, looking to Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor). Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) has always walked the fine line. Barbara (Erin Richards) has lost her mind. Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) has too. Dr. Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) had to find the viciousness within herself to fend off Barbara’s attack. Alfred (Sean Pertwee) harbors secrets about his past. Even little Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) is starting to plant his vigilante seeds.

The “Monsters” video is so freaking interesting, with Barbara in what looks like a rehab circle and a few shots of Jerome (Cameron Monaghan – IMDB says he’s in 3 episodes!), one in old timey prison garb. There’s a shot of Victor Zsasz (Anthony Harrigan), as well as newcomers Theo Galavan and his sister Tabitha (James Frain and Jessica Lucas). Tabitha is cracking her Tigress whip. There’s a reason season 2 has been dubbed “Rise of the Villains.” Jim looks angrier that before, which is quite the feat, since he was often furious in season 1.

I just want to know why Nygma is not in the cast photo gallery. He’s in the promo clip. Are they going to find out what he did? Is he taking the season off?
