Andy Samberg was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, and he and Jimmy Fallon got ridiculous as usual. Samberg has an upcoming gig hosting The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, plus his FOX show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine (I dub it the funniest show on television), returns for its 3rd season on Sunday, September 27th. We are in for a whole lot of Andy Samberg and I am glad.
Watch those two silly videos below.
In the first clip, Samberg reveals he is trying to bring “planking” back, and tried it out during an Emmy writing session. Fallon suggested the “double plank.”
Andy: “More planking for sure-ly! You gotta be super firm.”
So they double-planked. They tried to get The Roots to jump in the pile, but to no avail. I don’t blame you, Roots.
The 2nd clip was a game called, “Facekickers,” in honor of the start of the football season. The object of the game was to kick the footballs and smash the opponents pic in (etched on the glass). Fallon pulled a “hammie.” So a guest star stepped in.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35pm ET on NBC.
The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards airs Sunday, September 20th on FOX.

Jimmy, Andy and a surprise alternate take turns kicking footballs at glass panels painted with their faces, each trying to be the first to smash the other’s images.
