‘Star Wars’ Night On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (Video)
  |  @   |

It was Star Wars night on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, in anticipation of one of the biggest movie (and fan obsession) nights of the year – Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Kimmel interviewed director/writer/producer J.J. Abrams, who answered some compelling questions. Some of the cast faced off against a 3rd grade Star Wars expert, and Chewie and Harrison Ford squashed a feud.

Check out the clips below.

Kimmel always makes everything so fun, spinning entire shows around one theme. And what a theme!

First, he brings out R2-D2 who brings a Carrie Fisher hologram.

The second clip reveals the burning question, everyone always wants to ask J.J. Abrams:

“At the end of LOST, they were in Purgatory, right?” That is exactly the first question I would have asked JJ Abrams. Kimmel and I are Lostie soul mates.

The 3rd video has the next burning question:

“What is the first word of the movie?” J.J. answers! And shows a scene.

Video 4 reveals that nobody was allowed to take the script home. Carrie Fisher is a pisser. There’s a lot of cool info in this one.

The 5th is a game! J.J. Abrams is the quizmaster and all his decisions are final. A little boy against the cast!

“The dark lord of trivia, Arden Hayes!” Little Arden gets escorted out by 2 stormtroopers. And R2-D2 comes out as his trivia-mate. He is up against Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega.

Some questions asked were: “Who was Red Leader during The Battle of Endor?” Do you know the answer? Fisher was really funny, not knowing what detention block Princess Leia was held – “I was unconscious!”

Kimmel tries to help end a long-standing feud between Harrison Ford and Chewbacca. “It involved an affair of some kind. I know it involved a woman.” To the tune of John Williams, there is a dramatic video of the reunion. There is an awesome memory montage to Adele’s “Hello” as well.

The last clip has Carrie Fisher whispering the end of Star Wars to Kimmel.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens officially premieres December 18th, 2015 (but that means December 17th!).

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35pm ET on ABC.
