First Trailer For ‘Full House’ Sequel Series ‘Fuller House’
  |  @   |

Bringing the characters of hit old TV shows back to life for sequel series is all the rage right now. One such show is Fuller House, a sequel to the hit sitcom Full House which ran for almost 200 episodes from 1987 to 1995.

The revival will be released on Netflix, who has released the first trailer. It’s only a teaser trailer and doesn’t show much, but it should still hit fans of the show in the nostalgia button.

Most of the stars of Full House will be back in some aspect for Fuller House, including Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, and Scott Weinger, but the series mainly focuses on Tanner siblings D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), as well as intrusive former next door neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). The only cast members from the original show not returning—or at least not known to be returning at the moment; a surprise cameo at some point wouldn’t be all that much of a surprise—are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played the youngest sibling Michelle Tanner.

The show basically mirrors the set-up of the original show, in which Danny Tanner (Saget) was raising his three daughters with the help of his brother-in-law (Stamos) and best friend (Coulier) after his wife is killed in a car accident. In the new series, D.J. has lost her husband and is raising her three sons with the help of sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy.

All episodes of the first season of Fuller House are set to be released on Netflix on February 26th

  1. I hope that’s not the theme song. The original was a classic.
