New ‘Deadpool’ TV Spots, Valentine’s Day Ads
  |  @   |

A trio of new Deadpool TV spots have been released, with a tip of the hat to football, which is pretty popular right now with the NFL playoffs in full swing, and Pretty Little Liars included.

In addition to the two new TV spots, some Valentine’s Day friendly ads have also been released. As you already know the movie is set to be released just before the holiday for lovers on February 12th, and so it only makes sense to have a couple of the promo materials for the movie be more fitting to the holiday…and perhaps help a gentleman or two to convince their significant other to go and see this new Ryan Reynolds romantic comedy for their V-Day date night.

You can check out the TV spots and ads below.

SYNOPSIS:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller, and the screenplay is written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Zombieland, G.I. Joe: Retaliation). The movie stars Ryan Reynolds (Smokin’ Aces, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place) as the title character, Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Homeland) as Copycat, T.J. Miller (Silicon Valley, How to Train Your Dragon) as Weasel, Ed Skrein (The Transporter Refueled, Game of Thrones) as Ajax, Gina Carano (Haywire, Fast & Furious 6) as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Stefan Kapicic as Colossus.
