Geek Peek: ‘Justice League’ Concept Art Reveals First Look At Cyborg and The Flash
  |  @   |

It’s all about the synergy. In anticipation for the DC Films Presents: The Dawn of the Justice League special that is set to air on the CW at 9:30 PM EST this evening, Warner Bros. has released concept art that reveals a first look at the members of the titular Justice League, which features our very first look at Cyborg and The Flash.

Check out the concept art below.

We shouldn’t take this image as the final roster. Not that Cyborg and The Flash won’t be on the final roster, but that new members could be added. Remember when Justice League director Zack Snyder released the first teaser image of Aquaman last year, which had the words “Unite The Seven” written on it. Now that could be in reference to the “Seven Seas” or the seven members of the Justice League, in which case that seventh member could be the Green Lantern. But that is just speculation. If this is the final team that we will see in Part I, then it is entirely possible that we won’t be seeing Green Lantern join the Justice League until Part II. It also means that Green Lantern won’t be seen in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Considering that the role hasn’t been cast yet, it comes as no surprise. That is, unless, WB is keeping that role a secret.

The concept art debuted on the newly launched DC Films Facebook Page. The Page isn’t verified yet, as it currently lacks the blue check marks that proves it official, but the studio has confirmed that the image is indeed real and will be seen on tonight’s DC special. The special will also premiere the second trailer for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, and feature on-set interviews with the cast and creative crew of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Wonder Woman, and directors Zack Snyder and Patty Jenkins.

As you can see the images features the members of the DCCU’s Justice League: Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) together for the very first time. But what sort of devastating event brought these heroes together? We’ve heard a variety of villains from Brainiac to Darkseid, and chances are we probably won’t know until later on.

Justice League Part One hits theaters on November 17, 2017, with Part Two arriving on June 14, 2019. The Flash will have his own film debut on March 23, 2018, while Cyborg gets his own release on April 3, 2020.
