A new trailer aired during tonight’s Grammy Awards broadcast for Disney’s upcoming Alice Through the Looking Glass, the long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton’s 2010 epic Alice In Wonderland.

In this new 1 1/2-minute trailer, you’ll see Alice get larger and smaller to the sounds of the the song “White Rabbit,” originally recorded and made popular in the late 1960s by Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane. For the trailer, Pink does a faithful cover of the song — watch the featurette about it here below. Let me just say it’s about time this franchise used this song – it was a long time coming.

Directed by James Bobin (Muppets Most Wanted) with producer Tim Burton, Alice Through the Looking Glass sees Alice (Mia Wasikowska) traveling back in time to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), and having to go up against Time (Sacha Baron Cohen). Anne Hathaway is back as the White Queen, with Helena Bonham Carter as the wicked Red Queen. Returning to their voice roles are Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, and Timothy Spall, while Rhys Ifans brings the new role of Zanik Hightopp, the Mad Hatter’s father, to life.

We are also introduced to several new characters: Zanik Hightopp (Rhys Ifans), the Mad Hatter’s father and Time himself (Sacha Baron Cohen), a peculiar creature who is part human, part clock.
