What’s to Love: It’s time again to be excellent to each other! Writer: Fred Van Lente
Artist: Victor Santos $3.99
Final arc! After an unfortunate misfire, Egg’s magic sends Jack Burton and Winona traveling back through time to where it all began: San Francisco 1848″¦the year Chinatown formed.
This looks like it’s the last storyline for Jack Burton. Have you been keeping up? If you have, then you are probably like me and read it in that John Wayne-esque voice that Kurt Russel had in the film.
What’s to Love: Just in time for the 25th anniversary of Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, we’re returning readers to one of our favorite””and most excellent””cult-classic properties with a new Bill & Ted adventure of epic proportions. Brian Lynch (Minions screenwriter, Angel: After the Fall) and Jerry Gaylord (Fanboys vs. Zombies) bring you all the silly humor and likable characters mixed with some cool historical science fiction you love!

As the world waits for the Wyld Stallyns to unite the world with their music, Bill & Ted have to figure out how to live up to such expectations. They’ve only written one song! Going on an adventure spanning all time and worlds, Bill & Ted will have to find their muse in a young Chuck De Nomolos””Wyld Stallyns’ biggest critic, and the very same villain who grows up and kills them in his future. Can they “Rufus” this young villain, or is fate truly set in stone? Collects the complete four-issue mini-series and features an Introduction written by Alex Winter, who played Bill in the films!
25th Anniversary? I cannot believe it’s been that long! This collection is great if you missed the monthlies or if you just want it in a better binding. Your kids will want to read this. Of course, I’m working under the assumption that you’ll introduce them to the movies like all the rest of us did.

Hannah Christenson (Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard) presents “Albina,” the gender-swapped retelling of the Russian folktale wherein a legendary warrior and her servant face the three-headed dragon Tugarin Zmey.
I’m new to this one but it’s amazingly well presented. I love reimagined fairy tales, especially in comic form!
