Sarah Michelle Gellar Confirmed For Upcoming ‘Cruel Intentions’ Series
  |  @   |

In 1999, beautifully wicked, manipulator Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and her playboy (and sometimes boy toy) stepbrother Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillipe) played with the lives of the people around them. When Sebastian actually fell for one of their targets, the sweet Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon), tragedy struck and Sebastian was killed. Kathryn was exposed for the evil bitch she was. Now, the continuation will be a series, and NBC and Gellar have confirmed the casting.

Check out Gellar’s Instagram post below.

Although I LOVED the movie, I had no interest in watching a series of the same name.

Until now.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was so perfectly perfect as bitch Kathryn, I’m going to have to tune in (plus – I love Buffy!). This time around Katheryn will be trying to gain control of Valmont International, and will be involved with Sebastian and Casey’s son, Bash. Casey is not far behind (although not Witherspoon). I hope the rest of the cast can keep up with my SMG.
