This week, Google‘s prank backfires, the FBI flexes their new muscle, is Nest in trouble?, the largest data leak in history, a new Star Wars movie trailer, and Tesla 3 is coming!…in a couple of years …All this and more this week on The Drill Down podcast.
That’s $325,000,000 in revenue in their pocket in the first week.
That’s at least $11,050,000,000 in expected sales once those that reserved confirm their orders. And that’s after they spend the deposit money.
Add in the fact that people will add options.
Add in the fact that Tesla stands to gain % points for those who finance the car.
Now that’s still tiny compared to Audi, another luxury brand which saw revenue of a little more than $54,613,680,000 in 2012. But Tesla’s expected $11 billion – that’s pre-orders. If the car’s a success, regular orders will add to that.klll
