Geek Peek: New Concept Art For Disneyland’s Star Wars Experience
  |  @   |

Disneyland has been experiencing some changes in the past few months and all of it will be leading up to the highly anticipated opening of the theme park’s expansion called The Star Wars Experience. And now, Disney has released new concept art of what we can expect to see in the latest addition to Disneyland.

Check out the concept art here below.

The new image, which first appeared on the Disney Parks Blog, has been unveiled today at the theme park on the fence along Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland – one of the entry points to a never-before-seen planet in the Star Wars galaxy – revealing more about what guests will find in this all-new Star Wars Land. “The 14-acre land will be the largest-ever single-themed land expansion at Disneyland Resort,” according to Disney Parks Blog, an official Disney site.

Here’s a brief description of the new Star Wars Experience:

Nestled between towering spires of rock, this thriving port contains a seemingly familiar architecture of markets, landing zones and buildings. Look closely and you may find hints of some of the experiences coming to the park, including the Millennium Falcon peeking out of one of the cargo bays, marking the location where guests will get the opportunity to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.

Unlike the previously released image of the changes that will be coming to the theme park, this new one offers a more detailed look at The Star Wars Experience. There will be an interactive Millennium Falcon attraction which will allow guests to pilot Han Solo’s ship as if they were the legendary smuggler. The Battle Experience will put us in the middle of a battle between the battle between the Resistance and the First Order. Of course, there will be chances for guests to relax by taking a visit to meet some classic and new characters from the Star Wars saga. Guests will also have a chance to finally find out what blue Bantha milk tastes like, and also to eat at a cantina.
