SDCC 2016: Marvel’s ‘Luke Cage’ Teaser Trailer For Netflix Series

Marvel brought their upcoming Netflix series Luke Cage to San Diego Comic-Con this evening, where they debuted a teaser trailer for the show.

Series lead Mike Colter reprises his role of Luke Cage from Marvel’s Jessica Jones series, with Rosario Dawson also returning in her Daredevil role as Claire Temple. The show will also star Alfre Woodard as Black Mariah, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Theo Rossi as Shades, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe, and Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth, with Cheo Hodari Coker as showrunner and executive producer.
After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.
