SDCC 2016: Watch The ‘Arrow’ Season 5 First Look
  |  @   |

The DCTV universe took over San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, and the mother show gave us a new video reel and some panel reveals for what’s in store for Arrow Season 5 premiering this October. Stephen Amell (Green Arrow), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance), Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt), John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), David Ramsey (John Diggle), and producer Wendy Mericle revealed what fans could expect.

Check out the first look video here below.

During the panel, it was confirmed that the cast is still split after the end of last season, trying to find their place.

Oliver: “You were always better than me Laurel.”

They will put together a new team, and there are some new faces and some old. Curtis (Kellum) does not want to be helpless anymore, so he’s in. He is really funny. It is just what the team needs – their Cisco (Carlos Valdes).

EW reported that also coming to Star City is “Chad L. Coleman as a new villain; Joe Dinicol as Ragman; Tyler Ritter as new cop Detective Malone; Carly Pope as a new Star City reporter; and Josh Segarra, who will take up the mantle of the Vigilante.”

Arrow’s 100th episode falls right in the middle of the promised 4-way crossover with Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and The Flash. Can’t wait!

Arrow Season 5 premieres Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 8:00pm ET on The CW.

Be sure to check out all of our coverage of this year’s SDCC.
