Gotham took the stage on Saturday at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, promising an even darker season (incredible, really), and finding their characters in very different places than before. The panel included Ben McKenzie, David Mazouz, Sean Pertwee, Camren Bicondova, Morena Baccarin, Donal Logue, Robin Lord Taylor, and Cory Michael Smith.

It is 6 months later and the monsters are out and about in Gotham.

McKenzie: “Jim Gordon is a bounty hunter.” He is taking them out and getting paid to do so.

Lee (Baccharin) is back and “perhaps with a new love interest.”

We now have the two Bruces – remember at the end? That will be fun for Selina and Alfred.

Smith: “I’ve now embraced the darker side of me.”

The trailer is super fun, flashing across all of the season 2 villains, Mr. Freeze, Joker, Firefly, Barbara, Tabitha, Riddler… before moving to the new ones.

Gotham premieres Monday, September 19th on FOX.
