Metallica released today the first video single, “Hardwired,” from their just-announced upcoming new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
Check out the new song in the video here below.
“Hardwired” marks the first new music exclusively from Metallica (so, not counting Lulu, their 2011 experimental collaborative album with Lou Reed), and their studio follow-up to 2008’s Death Magnetic. Following in the tradition of their last album, the new song boasts their signature thrash sound and is even more reminiscent of their earlier works.
The new 2-disc album will contain nearly 80 minutes of music.
