It wasn’t even a month ago when the first teaser for Damien Chazelle‘s La La Land hit the web, much to our delight. In it, we heard a song called “City of Stars” sung by Ryan Gosling.

Now Summit Entertainment has released the second teaser, this time with Emma Stone at the mic singing the melancholic “Audition.” Check out the new teaser below.

The film brings back Gosling and Stone together for the third time in an incredibly moving story about star-crossed lovers, struggles, and achieving dreams. Even with the old-timey songs and shot selection, the film is set during modern times. It doesn’t have the blockbuster feel but is more of a nod to the films of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and because of that, it is easily one of my most anticipated films of the year. There is really an indescribable beauty to the shots in this film. Having lived around the LA area for my entire life, I’ve really never seen the city in the way that Chazelle presents it in La La Land. It’s almost as if the city itself was less of a setting and more of a character.

Then there is Emma Stone singing. I wasn’t sure if anyone could follow up Gosling’s surprising turn as a jazz singer singing “City of Stars,” and now there’s Stone singing the melancholy “Audition.” There’s also some new cover art promoting the song, just in case you were interested.

Here’s the official plot description:

Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Damien Chazelle, LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.

The film also stars J.K. Simmons, Rosemarie DeWitt, and John Legend.

La La Land opens on December 2, 2016.
