‘Doctor Strange’ International Trailer Explores Psychedelic Realities
  |  @   |

We are less than a month out before the release of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange, and anticipation for the film continues to grow. Earlier this week, Marvel unveiled a 15-minute preview of the film that gave attendees a small look into the MCU’s psychedelic universe. But for those who weren’t able to attend the event, the studio has released a new international trailer to trip out on.

Check it out here below.

Thanks to Comicbook.com for posting the trailer.

While there are a few pieces of new footage to look at, there isn’t much of it. It’s not as though we haven’t seen it in any of the other previous trailers. But if you want to have an excuse to look at the absolutely insane (and more polished) visuals, then this trailer will do more than give you your fill of it. There’s also a little bit more Benedict Wong‘s Wong – not a euphemism – having more of a pivotal role to the title character than just being a “tea-making manservant.”

Directed by Scott Derrickson, who wrote the screenplay with C. Robert Cargill, Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton.

Doctor Strange opens in theaters on November 4, 2016.

Here’s the official synopsis for Doctor Strange:

From Marvel comes “Doctor Strange,” the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place””a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange””armed with newly acquired magical powers””is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Join Strange on his dangerous, mystifying, and totally mind-bending journey when Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” opens in U.S. theaters on November 4, 2016.
