Black Metal Friday: Terra “Apotheosis”
  |  @   |

Terra is a three-piece, atmospheric, black metal band hailing from Cambridge, England. Their sound, while unique in its own right, is also reminiscent of bands like Wolves In The Throne Room, Ash Borer, and Alter of Plagues. Their 2015 self-titled debut album was met by widespread critical praise, landing them on many critics’ year end “best of” lists.

Now Terra is set to release its highly anticipated follow-up and, let me tell you, I’ve heard it and there is definitely no sophomore slump here! The record is titled Mors Secunda and it hits the streets next Friday December 9, 2016.

We here at GoD are very proud to present a sneak peak at the record right here below in the form of the track “Apotheosis.”

Enjoy and, as always, be sure to support these great, underground artists by buying the album if you like what you’re hearing. You can head over to the band’s Bandcamp page to preview and pre-order your copy or maybe score a copy for the black metal connoisseur on your holiday gift list.
