Turn Radishes Into ‘Super Mario’ Mushrooms With This Kitchen Gadget (Video)
  |  @   |

When it comes to kitchen gadgets, usually we buy them because they make something annoying much easier. Or claim to, anyway. But sometimes one comes along that might not be essential in your kitchen, but is a must-own anyway.

That’s where the Ravanello comes into the picture. This little tool isn’t necessarily a life-changer, but what it does do geeks everywhere will without question throw their hard earned coin at to own. The Ravanello takes your basic everyday radish, and transforms it into a mushroom. No, not an actual mushroom. That would be incredible, and cost a hell of a lot more. But it does make it look like a mushroom—more specifically, one of those oh so familiar mushrooms from the Super Mario video game series and its spinoffs.

Click on over to the other side for more and to see a video of how it works.

The Ravanello is created by Avichai Tadmor, and is available for pre-order over at Monkey Business. The price is $12, and it’s expected to ship sometime next month.
