Arkane’s ‘Prey’ Game Gets A New Trailer, Release Date
  |  @   |

Publisher Bethesda Softworks has released a new trailer for Dishonored developer Arkane Studios’ Prey, a first-person shooter RPG in which you attempt to figure out what’s happening on the space station Talos 1, where a dark alien presence has attacked and killed almost everyone else.

The game is a re-imagining of the 2006 original first-person shooter game of the same name developed by Human Head Studios and published by 2K Games. A sequel to the game, simply titled Prey 2, was in the works for a few years before Bethesda eventually pulled the plug and moved on to this reboot.

You can read more about Prey, watch the new trailer, and find out when you’ll get to play it below.

Sci-Fi Thriller

Nothing is as it seems aboard Talos I. As Morgan Yu, set out to unravel the clues you’ve left behind for yourself, and discover the truth about your past. What role will you play in TranStar’s plans, and the mysterious threat ravaging the station?

Singular Setting

Orbiting the Moon, the Talos I space station symbolizes the height of private space enterprise. Explore a lavish craft designed to reflect corporate luxury of the 1960s, and navigate interconnected, non-linear pathways built to hide countless secrets.

Unimaginable Threat

The shadowy extraterrestrial presence infesting Talos I is a living ecology bent on annihilating its prey. It’s up to you, one of the last remaining survivors aboard the station, to end the deadly attack of these haunting predators.

Play Your Way

Gain alien abilities to develop a distinct combination of powers and upgrade your unique skills. Craft increasingly useful items with the blueprints, gadgets and tools on board the station to overcome dangerous obstacles in your way. Survive unprecedented threats with your wits and ability to improvise.

If interested, you can also watch the game’s reveal trailer from E3 2016 and a gameplay trailer from this past August as well.

Prey is set to be released on May 5th. You can pre-order it for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 now.

In addition to the new trailer, also included below is a recently released 8-minute gameplay demo for those who missed it.
