Paramount Pictures has released online the Super Bowl TV spot for Baywatch, their upcoming big-screen adaptation of the popular 80s TV show, starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
Watch the Super Bowl TV spot here below.
Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch, starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra, Jon Bass, and Ilfenesh Hadera, opens in U.S. theaters on May 26, 2017.
The TV spot shows us a more comedic version of popular 1980s lifeguard television series that starred David Hasselhoff and a host of buxom women running in slow motion. Here, Dwayne Johnson is the big man on the beach, with Zac Efron as the newbie in tight patriot swimwear, along with new buxom blondes to save drowning beach-goers.
A no-nonsense veteran lifeguard goes head-to-head with a reckless recruit, but must put aside their differences when they uncover a criminal plot that threatens their beach.
The Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots face off in Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, at 6:30 pm ET on Sunday, February 5, 2017. The Big Game will be broadcast on FOX TV, with FOX Sports GO streaming it online.
