Last time on Colony, the Bowmans are reunited sans Bram. Charlie was having trouble trusting home. Will told Katie (Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies) they have to stick together. Charlie (Jacob Buster) set Lindsey’s (Erin Way) book on fire. Will noticed that there were cameras in the house, and whispered that to his wife in the shower. Jennifer (Kathleen Rose Perkins) did not turn the Bowmans in, deleting their files when she got fired. She went home and took a bunch of pills. The entire bloc was being watched.

Spoilers below.

Colony 2.5 “Company Man” review: Broussard and team capture a drone and mount a camera, before it wakes up. The drone goes home to its drone family of thousands. Broussard goes to get more info about it. His team is restless. He goes and meets a contact on the outside, for an engineer to decipher drone tech.

The prison camp is bombed, and it’s handmade. In the camp, they question the prisoners by “whacking” them in the head. Bram tries to gain Maya’s (Jessica Parker Kennedy) trust by promising to feed info to Snyder (Peter Jacobson). It backfires on both of them because jerkface Jenkins (Mac Brandt) shoots 2 kids in the camp instead of Snyder questioning them, as was the plan. Snyder tries to reassure Bram.

The Bowmans go for a walk and secret talk. Will decides to go back to work, and see what Jennifer knows. He is taken to a questioning room. Dan Bennett (Christian Clemenson) walks in. He talks about Beau, Bram, and trust. Will says he needs to be back on the street to find Broussard. He asks his new partner, Bob Burke (Toby Huss) about Jennifer, but he plays dumb and suggests the surveillance annex. Will goes to Jennifer’s house. It’s empty. Bob is waiting for him, and tells him she couldn’t adapt to the new system. Will tells Katie.

Headquarters gets bombed and Will finally sees the surveillance annex. I know Bob is behind all this to increase fear of terrorism.

Katie kicks Lindsey out of the house for punishing Charlie. She goes to see her sister to fix it, who says she has to apologize. She totally believes in the “Greatest Day.” She shows Katie Bram’s name on the list, which Katie downloads when Maddie (Amanda Righetti) conveniently leaves the room for a moment.

Bunches of tangled webs this episode (and series). Bram is exactly like his father. Here’s hoping that realization will come to him, so they can have a better relationship once reunited. I really did dislike Snyder at first, but he is quickly becoming one of my faves – so complex! On the other hand, I really used to like Maddie and now she seems part of the Lindsey cult. It’s unnerving. Charlie is fun in his unpredictability. It says something that in a show with Josh Holloway, who is always perfect, that the others get to shine too, and often.

I really enjoyed “Company Man.” It flew by and kept me hooked throughout, and wanting next week to come quicker.

Colony airs Thursday nights at 10:00pm ET on USA.
